Here's one for the why didn't someone do that sooner files: A maternity consignment boutique. Eager to open with a full store, the owners weren't picky about what they accepted to start. For now, the racks are full of Motherhood Maternity and Old Navy blouses, t-shirts, jeans and slacks, (which still seem overpriced at $15 to $17). Clothes are generally priced at around a third or a fourth of the original value. Hopefully the assortment will become more refined with time. There's clearly a demand for the concept.
